Welcome back Bel! I would make this post longer, but I need to go give Riverman some positive reputation now...
deathbyhokie wrote:So wait. Does that mean God is a lie too? Also Bigjoe, sarcasm friend. When have you ever seen me get in a religious debate, excluding when i first joined and was an idiot?
God is cake.
The cake is a lie.
Therefore, we can conclude that God is a lie. Who says atheists have no proof?

I have no proof that unicorns are imaginary, therefore unicorns are real.

I think it's hilarious that now people are egging on Bel.
How many of you have read the Bible and know of all the historical fact that has been proven by Christians and non Christians alike? If you want proof that God does exist, which he does, then there is plenty. And also, what are you going to lose by believing in him? If you don't and he is here, then you will probably suffer the rapture and wrath of God sometime later, and if you do and he isn't, then there, so there.
I've always hated that argument that you should believe in God for safety.
Well, I heard it once from someone else, but they had a point. I don't believe in God for safety, I believe in him becuase he's real, living. He's as real as humans, birds, Earth, the Sun, water, etc. Heck, there was a bumper sticker I saw on the big bang, and was something like On the first day, God said let there be light, and Bang, there it was! Something like that. ^_^
I'd be happy to discuss this with anyone, and I promise to be at least moderately polite. However, it really is more appropriate in another thread in the Religious Debate forum. This thread isn't the place.

I'd rather this thread wasn't moved to religious debate since it is neither religious nor a debate. It's just me saying "hi" to people.

I think you're just afraid of getting your ass kicked where everyone else can see it.
Better go hide it in a subforum, so no one can see the Pain Train making a stop at Beld's house.
I really don't think that's what he thinks. I really don't.
It'd be fun to have a current old-school religious debate. (You'd understand what side I'm on by interpreting the first two sentences of this post correctly.)
Wait, which god's wrath am I trying to avoid here? After all, there are countless numbers of gods in the world, and most of them have a nasty jealous streak and simply can't stand it when you worship someone else. So, in worshiping God to avoid His wrath, I just want to make sure I get the right one. If I'm not careful, I could just end up pissing him off even more than I already have by not worshiping anyone.

In case that fails, you could use this one. Mine is a bit creeper, though. It's amazing what you'll find on YouTube. :eyebrow:
Ah, I smell a debate a-brewin'!
Incidentally, I was in a resturant recently where they blasted that song over the sound system. My buddy and I cracked up, due to the whole resturant getting Rickrolled.
He said it him self. Keep the religious debate out of the thread and in the the forum where it belongs.
