Good news for them..not that there was much good being written on television anyway..24 was the only show that I really watched lately.

Writer's Strike Deal Reached
Well, at least they finally reached a deal.
And 24 is not back until next season. Just great.
Television viewers began seeing the effects of the strike firsthand in the last few weeks, as scripted shows faded further into reruns and networks started promoting reality shows like “American Gladiators” on NBC that do not employ guild writers.
This is only a half-true statement, because American Gladiators really needs guild writers to improve the horrible fake dialogue.
^^But they don't exactly need good writers.
The horrible fake dialogue is actually what makes American Gladiators so awesome. Everything about that show is god-awful, just like in the original series, which is what makes it endearing to me. Seriously, it carries that true 80s feeling of terribly bad that makes it lovabl.
