Grass animation doesn't work when going to different screen

This is a known bug, however, no one really mentions it because it isn't that much of a big deal. But it is a bug nonetheless.

Say you have two screens:

g|g
g|g
g|g

Where g means a grass combo. Okay, when standing on a grass combo, you will have the graphic of the grass over the player. Making it look like you in standing in tall grass. However, say you are going to the next screen, Link will pop out of the grass (no longer have that graphic on him) until he is all of the way in the next screen.

So basically it looks were if you think about it because Link is in the grass, and moves to another screen with grass, so he should be in the grass at all times, however, when moving to the next screen it doesn't register.

I think the same thing happens when you are shallow water too. But yeah, I don't know if this can be fixed. However, since it is a bug, I just wanted to mention it.

did you try that "smart screen scrolling" rule or whatever its called... that detects collisions on adjacent screens and might also affect this issue.

It even happens with that rule checked. I just tried it myself, and he doesn't have the animation during the scrolling transition.

The thing is, on the NES all non-Link sprites are disposed of when Link switches screens. I can understand a case for making exceptions for decorations such as these, though.

I was a bit misleading when I said that

The other thing is, Link sprite decorations like grass and hover boots don't actually exist on the NES. So it doesn't really matter if they're visible while scrolling or not.

Awesome. Thanks _L_ that bug was bothering me a lot. :P But I will test this out once the build comes out. :P
