(704) Boomerang throwing bug

This is a bug that I think has been around for a while. Normally, you can throw the boomerang diagonally. However, in the current build, you cannot throw it to the bottom right.

Hm. I guess it might just be my computer. The strange thing is, with Zelda three movemnet, I can move diagonally in that direction, and I can throw the boomerang in all other directions. Strange.

I know that people have had boomerang throwing problems in the past. I'll see if I can confirm this with an AGN search...

Yeah, that search wasn't going anywhere. But I guarantee some people have had the problem in the 2.10 era.

Does it help to remap the b button to a different key? I know some keyboards (especially on laptops) don't correct handle some 3-key combinations.

Especially laptops? Well I bet that's the problem. I use a laptop for ZC. I'll try it out. I am guessing that this is not a bug.

this.

As an example, try switching the keys to what I use:

WSAD: up/down/left/right
Period: A
Apostrophe: B

It might not work on your keyboard, of, course, since every keyboard is different; but my point is that, in this case, the directions are far from the buttons.

Direction/button conflicts in NES emulators was the reason I switched to this setup; I use it in almost every game nowadays. 😛

'Not A Bug' thread moved from quarantined to exterminated. Dark Nation (or other developer), how am I doing? Reply only in one of the threads I moved.
