To see this bug, simply don't touch a button. Let the intro go to the description of how Link must find the 8 triforce pieces.
The problem? There is supposed to be some fancy border around the text, and I don't think there are supposed to be "x"s surrounding "8".

Looks like you got an older qst.dat file. Takuya, are you having this same issue?
Be sure you're grabbing everything from output/common instead of anything that might still be laying around the root.
