EffectWidth and EffectHeight, take 2:

A bit from some script;

if(state == 2){ // transparent
top->Flags[1] = true;
bottom->Flags[1] = true;
top->Flags[9] = true;
bottom->Flags[9] = true;
//top->EffectHeight = 0;top->EffectWidth = 0;
//bottom->EffectHeight = 0;bottom->EffectWidth = 0;
boss->X=-16;boss->Y=-16;
}

I just changed Effect Height to Flags[ETHEREAL] for this one which works alot better anyways, but still would be useful to be able to adjust effect size also.

Oh, yeah, that part. 😛 That might be useful info.

Well the way it was set up was, it's pretty much a giant block of damage. I first added this part:

top->EffectHeight = 0;top->EffectWidth = 0;
bottom->EffectHeight = 0;bottom->EffectWidth = 0;

But it didn't do anything, so I did a workaround with ffc->Flags[9]; which actually works alot better, thanks.

Unless you aren't supposed to be able to set these to 0. :shrug:

EffectWidth and EffectHeight are unchanged if the value is set to <= 0. Just undocumented probably. Setting these to a sane number works fine, so -Not a bug-.

Maybe add a line to zscript text?
