quote: Evel Knievel, the hard-living motorcycle daredevil whose jumps over Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon made him an international icon in the 1970s, died Friday. He was 69.
Knievel's death was confirmed by his granddaughter, Krysten Knievel. He had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs.

WOW... I'm in shock. I've followed his history of stunts since I was a kid. I feel sorry for his family.
PS: here's the CNN article: http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/30/obit.knievel/index.html
Plays Another One Bites The Dust by Queen
Man, Evel Knievel was the man. I honestly thought he was already dead. Guess I don't know much about him. Maybe I should look him up, after all, he was an incredible stunt devil. Rest in peace Evel, rest in peace.
Was he a big smoker? What was this thing with his lungs? It seems strange that they don't give much description on that.
hmm...
Why dontcha tell them exactly how it happened and what caused it? They might enjoy hearing it...
His main home page is www.evelknievel.com ... that might have more answers.
...Who?
I hate it when people whom I do not know die and people talk about it. It makes me feel left out. 😛
*salutes*
I respect your craziness to do all those insane things Mr. Knievel!
The world will probably never know another one like you!
Pineconn please tell me that was a joke. Evel Knievel is the famous daredevil who jumped a ton of stuff and had a brawl with the Hell's Angels. His son jumped the Grand Canyon.
Based on what I heard about how he died...
...I smell a rat...

I'm glad you realized it was a joke. 😉
Sarcasm isn't so obvious over text. Damn, now I feel stupid for not seeing that smilie, obvious sign right there.

Please elaborate/explain... provide links... etc... please and thank you
Why would there be any reason to get rid of Evel Knievel? He's not even relevant anymore.
