I was playing my quest, which uses a scipt that makes Link roll when you press "L". Then I started up a 2.10 quest (Enternal Winter new beta). I pressed "L" to scroll through my inventory and to my surprise, Link rolled! I'm guessing this probably applies to all global scripts and 2.10 quests. Why is ZC so bad about backwards compatibility?
Scripts apply to 2.10 quests (635)
Because when there are 100 different definitions of "correct behavior," all contradictory, for every little thing, and some stuff inevitably ends up confused...
In any case this bug has nothing to do with backwards compatibility, but instead it seems that scripts are not being cleared when you quit a quest.

That would seem to be the problem. The coment on backwards compatibility was due to a lack of thinking on my part. So I assume this bug is one of those that is going to be difficult to fix.
I confirm this bug in 584, I was playing a game with the roll script and then I changed to Mario's Isane Rampage, and Mario was rolling away.
Come to think of it, this bug could be advantageous. You could roll away in quests made in older versions. Or make a global script that activates all cheat codes...
Should be fixed in the next build.
