So where is the arcade, I don't see it. .....Oh wait. THERE it is.

I have a trophy now, and only because I was first ever to play the game. After a few days, I will never have one again. I'm become too much of a casual gamer to be able to compete at an arcade game. It's just an exercise in frustration.

I can finally win for a little bit, thanks for the temporary trophy DD.

Indeed. I remember back during the 1st iteration of the arcade, TSA and I fought over the Space Invaders high score by playing 5+ hour-long games non-stop. Nowadays I wish I had that kind of spare time... :-/

Well I just played a game of Mumu that lasted a while, and when I hit "submit" I had to log back in and it said I don't have access this page, so as far as i'm concerned I hold the current high score of 462. 😛

Ahahaha! lol. Anyway, the screen on the tetris game would just stay white after you died. I guess it just started doing that.

Here's an error I just got. I don't know if it's an arcade error or a schitzo internet problem, but I beat my high score on a game and the high scores database didn't show it... and yet it shows it as my most recent score. Check it out:

Another glitch. I had gotten the high score in Mumu, but it registered twice. Odd.

How do you submit your high score in Starship Legend? Out of curiosity.

EDIT: And the parachute game? Because I got all 80 parachuters... and I couldn't figure out how to submit my score.

Well, theres a trophy next to your name, so it must have recorded it.

I don't think so, it was just that one time. Worked fine today, plus it's a mu-t point since it's up to 700 now anyway. ;p

The arcade is only a platform, on top of which run the (third-party) games. It would appear that the coding of these games is of... variable... quality, so some have trouble reporting high scores, report scores twice, etc.

Thus there's not much I can do, short of deleting the buggy games, of course.

Yeah, I was noticing the lack of pacman. Is there any reason its not available?

Goodness, this may require some effort to find. Well, beyond simply plugging terms into Google. Nothing I put in that refers to both Pac-Man and Vbulletin brings up anything but sites "powered by vBulletin"

The official vb arcade site didn't have it in their games database due to obvious copyright problems. If you find it (or any other games you want, for that matter) on the internet, point me to it and I'll install it.

Oh, good. I was just going to ask how we'd go about getting other games installed. Any Flash games we find, or just VBA? Because wouldn't other ones from across the internet require some custom coding to set up the High score page?

I've installed a few more games, including Pacman (couldn't find Alchemy though, sorry :-/ )

Hey DD, can you modify the pages where it centers on the section with the game instead of at the top of the page? It gets annoying to scroll down every time you start a new game.

Also, see if you can get Desktop Defense. Awesome game, although I'm not sure it keeps points...

Heh... I remember there was an arcade. Anyways, you are the savior of this place. I just spent the last hour pwning the s*** out of 2 games, i.e obtaining a score double/triple the current hi score before I played >:O

OK, now this pisses me off. I was pwning at Defend Your Castle(140000+ points. Would've held 1st for a looong time, too!) until my account automatically logged off(why does this happen?) and so when I finally lost, I had to log back in. Next, a limited access page comes up, and I thought I could get around it. So from there, I clicked Home and returned to Arcade, and...

The score isn't even on the list. I can hardly describe how much that pisses me off! :angry:

This is probably something that needs to be fixed to where if the member is playing in the arcade section, the idle timer is turned off.
