http://www.armageddongames.net/zeldaclassic/qdb.php. Looks, the quest database works again! Only the pictures don't work, but everything else does! DarkDragon was able to set it up again! Words cannot describe the pure joy! It's like paradise! Okay, maybe I'm going a little overboard, but you get the point. It works!😊😊😊😊😊😃.
The quest database works again!
Seems AGN is going to owe a debt to DarkDragon that it can never pay, 90% of what gets done around here, that guy does it.
Well Holy shit in a shitstorm of shit, WTF is going on?
Darkdragon, what did you do! What the hell did you just do!? It looks like you just fixed the quest database, but where's the announcement? Y'know, something like "QUEST DATABASE WORKS BITCHES! AGN PWNS AGAIN!!!
...subtle but effective.

Seriously, I thought DD was an admn up untill a few montyhs ago. You'd have to be mentally handicapped to not give him access to everything, and just let him do whatever he feels like.
It's in good working order too, there's afew obvious things, but now you can download quests again. Russdawn, if you set the mouse cursor over the pic it'll show up, at least it worked for me. I wonder if DarkDragon was waiting till it is 100% before saying something.
I was. I got the basic browsing and downloading working but wanted to do more thorough tests before getting peoples' hopes up.
Dark Dragon you don't know half how happy you made a lot of people you're the best , Thank you very very ...I can't even say how much 😊
Holy random on a random sandwich with random on top! ... and a side helping of ZC!
As much as others have said it, I suppose I'll chip it in... in Japanese; Arigatou gousaimase, which probably isn't even spell right, but I really don't care, because you all rock.
Oh God. Totally unexpected. One day, all of AGN doesn't work. Next day, the forums are back up. Next day, the QDB fully (minus 1%😉 works. A pure jumble of emotions.
DarkDragon, every AGNer is indeed in debt to you. Seriously, thank you very much for this. *cries*
Yay! I havn't seen a working QDB in about a year!....Thanks DarkDragon!
A year? The QDB hasn't been running properly since December 31, 2005. Over a year and a half ago, to me, that is.
Next, I suppose we'll need people to actively run the site/make updates/upload quests. This step has been neglected since... well, 12/31/05.

heh, you can't surprise us DD 😉 we are to 1337 for surprises. 😉
DarkDragon is a GOD! Need I say more?
Thank you so very much DarkDragon. AGN indeed owes you so much.😃
Now, who would be in charge of the DB once it is running with stability again? The next important detail.
Which pictures precisely? They're all showing up for me.
Pictures are working now, they weren't yesterday. 😉
keep it up DD, all the regulars will luv u 4 eva !!!
Well since it keeps telling me that I have to spread my reputation around before I can give out a simple "Thanks for fixing the quest database" message, I have instead asciified your avatar!
Hope you like it. 😃

ABOUT DAMN TIME! This is a great day.
I just pray it keeps on working for more than a few days. And hopefully someone will be updating it every now and then.
Freedom wrote:Seems AGN is going to owe a debt to DarkDragon that it can never pay, 90% of what gets done around here, that guy does it.
Indeed. DD is the only one on the AGN staff that does anything around here. Tons of respect for him, he is truly a fantastic fellow.
My question still remains.....
Who is going to be in charge of the updates now?
Or are you going to upkeep it DarkDragon?
It would be nice to know since I'm sure some people have updates that need posted there. 😉
Incidentally, mods and/or admins, THIS thread can be closed now since the real DB is back up again.😉
The QDB control panel scripts are incomplete/buggy. When I've finished revamping them we'll see about manning it.
Fah-weeeeet! The QDB is back in buisness. A few kinks, and we're all good.
Gleeok, how did you do that?
