have your resolution set in the configuration file to 1280x960 and sBig = 1
open up Zelda Classic (player) and open the GUI and move the mouse around... the acceleration rate is excessively high compared to what it is on the desktop.

Another developer will have to investigate - these options are not supported by my hardware.
make sure your desktop resolution is set higher then what is set in ZC, else ZC wont run at all.
It does seem a tad faster, but I may not have noticed it if I wasn't paying attention to it.
i notice it lots, its vastly different speed to 320x240 res and vastly different to what it is on my desktop which also runs at 1280x960.
so the game @ 1280x960 has a higher sensitivity then my desktop that is also @ 1280x960. (perhaps the sbig=1 option affects it?)
SBig should only double the size of the playing field. Why are you running ZC with a res of over 640x480? Doesn't that just increase the size of the black border around the playing field?
As for the mouse speed, it's set the same for all resolutions and only for ZQuest. Does your ZQuest have similar issue when running in -large mode?

um, i dont use -large mode in Zquest. ill take a look later tho.
Ah, forget my earlier comment; I see what franpa is saying now, and I do agree. The pointer speed is considerably faster than it should be. ZQ large mode seems to work normally, though, at least from my testing.
This is in fullscreen mode or windowed?
fullscreen.
its like the mouse moves slow/fast where as on the windows desktop it moves slow/medium/fast.
Do you have mouse acceleration turned on in Windows? What happens if you turn it off?
i tried turning "Enhance Pointer Precision" off but it has no effect. i use intelli point software with my mouse (the latest version for winXP home)
mouse accelerates drastically still. moving the mouse slow to fast and you can see a drastic increase in courser speed very quickly which is NOT what you see in windows.

Does anyone else get this bug? It may be an issue with Intellipoint software and fullscreen mode. Does this happen in windowed mode?
I set mine to 1600x1200, and noticed no change. (673-linux) ... Though, my test is only for a Linux build, and not a Windows build.
Nobody else has commented, so this is going to Limbo.
Still an issue, after all this time ^_^" (Confirmed at 1920x1080. The mouse works fine at 640x480 and 320x240). Basically it seems that the base speed of the mouse is correct but mouse acceleration goes out of wack.
Also happens in Zelda Classic v1.92 Beta183. The mouse acceleration rate increases at higher resolutions with it being fine at 320x240, acceptable at 640x480, a little too fast at 1024x768 and basically unusable for any gameplay elements that depend on it at 1920x1080. No other game, program or piece of software on my PC exhibits this issue with the mouse acceleration rate being scaled up when increasing display resolution.
Is this full screen only, or does it happen in windowed as well?
Yeah it only happens in Fullscreen. In Windowed mode the mouse courser moves exactly the same as it does on the desktop.
