If you enter a 10 rupee room type and leave without getting the rupees, then come back in. All the rupees are gone and will never return.
10 Rupee type room has no rupees!
working for me in 536
EDIT;
Oh, nice, I didn't read the whole leaving part.
Hasn't that always been the way of it?
EDIT;
Ok I just tested this in the 192b184 and if you leave without picking up the rupees they are gone gone gone when you come back. 😉
This maybe be a inconsistency issue rather than a 'bug' per se. Can anyone test this on the real thing? Depending on how it is *supposed* to work, the fix would be either very easy or very hard.
I check it in 1st and get back
EDIT,
If you mean the original and not the 1st In Zelda Classic, then someone else needs to verify this, mine is packed up right now.
there are 10 rupee rooms in level 4, 7 , 8, and maybe more I missed.
I recall leaving a 10-rupee room and leaving it because my wallet was full. This was in the GBA Version.
I believe that once you leave, thay are all gone for good. I am guessing it is because the NES couldn't detect if you had only got some of the ruppies, so they all went away so you couldn't grab nine, leave, come back in, grab nine more, and so on.
I have checked the Original NES. Here is what it actually works:
Entering the room with 10-rupees, if you don't take any and leave, then come back, they are still available.
But if you take at least one and leave, then come back, all of them are gone.
Okay. I can fix this. Should it be that the rupees don't come back if you take one of the 10 rupees, or if you take any item in the room?
Fixed.
