I was able to select bombs, both super or normal, in my custom subscreen. But now I can't. I have verified that they are set up right. Is this a bug now?
Also, the counter for them doesn't work either. Maybe its interconnected?

How did you acquire the bombs? How many bombs do you actually have (can be checked through cheats if counter is broken)?
The bombs were acquired earlier in the quest, so they were already there. I used the cheat to increase them and still wasn't able to select them. The counter below them, separate from the passive subscreen counter, did not change either. The passive subscreen one did however.
I have a similar issue. Super Bombs no longer appear in the subscreen at all, even in the subscreen editor. The item is set up properly and worked prior to me messing with the subscreen.
I had to put them in init. data to get them to show up in the editor for me, and give him a number to start with.
EDIT;
I just remembered something else C-Dawg;
When I moved my quest up from b16 it did that too, I had to reset the bomb defaults.
The bombs in the subscreen editor is a separate issue - ZQ uses whatever is set in init data to draw the subscreen.
Rocksfan, could you please post the broken quest?
Sure. LINK.
I'll PM you the password DarkDragon.
Your bomb item properties are incorrect. In particular, the power of the bomb seems to have been set to 0 instead of 1. Hit "defaults" for the Bomb items and everything should be fine.
Interesting. Since I haven't touched anything since beta 226.
Would the new additions have an effect on this? Because if it does, then there could be a serious issue here.
It was _L_'s changes to the item editor.
I had to reset defaults on a few different things a few times now.
Yes, the item properties have settled down to relative stability only recently. Other items you might want to just "default" for good measure include
- Shields
- Swords
- Fairies
- Bomb Bags
- Bows
My only concern is the effect it may have on older quests.
But, definitely nice to know. Since none of my items have been customized.
