If you have a secret combo in the sword slot tiered to itself (ctrl flag 79) it will work when Link is beside it slashing but if he is under it it triggers it twice with 1 swing.
If you use a temp trigger floor combo it continues to trigger blocks that are tiered for up and down at a hight rate of speed instead of just going up, allowing Link to step off and then come back and step on it again, if you catch my drift.
This was a problem way back when, and I believe DN fixed it
The way these are being used is an up and down block are tiered together so you hit the switch once and it goes up, hit again it goes down.
