Use View Map in Etc. Menu after loading a MIDI for playback as you work with your quest.
When you view the map and are zooming up or down with PageUp/PageDown keys, slow down. When zoomed up close, performance slows worse when not touching arrow keys.
Please also check for my other reported bugs in page 1-5 of Open Beta Bugs. I don't want to bump them up.
Performance bug still occurs in 528.
I will bump all but the inconsistency reports. Inconsistencys are going to have to wait until either after beta 18, release candidates, or 2.5.
Is anybody else seeing this bug? I'm not noticing performance degradation.
I just tried it. I didn't experience any slow down or any problem at all in build 548. Unfortunately it's probably your computer.
I never have a problem with audio related zc midi's. I'm not seeing this one either. ZCamazing, you posted another thread about midi slowdown, but I downloaded the midi and it worked fine. It definately could be a hardware issue.
Have you mentioned, it is in the quest editor program. Load a MIDI using Play Music in etc. then view map using View Map in etc. Set options and click OK. Performance freeze unless you keep moving the map around with arrow keys.
If it is true that it is me, must be a hardware. And if so, move it in "Bugs in Limbo." This slow down is occuring on my side. 😞
