First try this:
item iSpawn;
iSpawn = Screen->CreateItem(69);
iSpawn->X = thisFFC->X;
iSpawn->Y = thisFFC->Y;
Then this:
item iSpawn;
iSpawn = Screen->CreateItem(69);
iSpawn = Screen->CreateItem(43);
iSpawn->X = this1->X;
iSpawn->Y = this1->Y;
It seems that the index returned from CreateItem is one too low. That's why the second block of code moves the fairy and not the dust pile. Should be an easy fix.
Happens in version 509.
Ouch; I'm surprised there haven't been more complaints.
Fixed in the next build.
The bug still persits. The second block of code above now moves the dust pile, which makes sense since it is the last item created. However, spawning only one item will not move it (the first block of code). It seems that the first item created from CreateItem on a screen does not react to its position getting set. If two FFCs use this script, the second one will move the newly created item correctly. However, the bug 'resets' on changing screens: every time this script runs the first item will not move, regardless of how many times it has run on other screens or past visits to that screen.
This may be a different bug (the first item spawned does not react to its position getting set) but I'm not sure.
By the way, the purpose of the dust piles is a pseudo-fix for the bug. By creating them first and then the desired item, I sucessfully move the desired items correctly, while the dust pile gets stuck in the corner. The fix in version 536 requires me to spawn the dust pile first, while the previous bugged versions required me to spawn it second before setting the item location.
Are you sure you recompiled the scripts in the latest build? If so please post a test quest; I copy-pasted the exact script and it works for me.
Here is the sample quest.
In the first room, hit the button. A stationary fairy should appear where the appropriate FFC is and a dust pile will appear in the corner. Get the wand and head a few rooms east tp the dead-end. Shoot the eye statues to trigger two spawn item scripts. All the items will spawn correctly because of my dust pile approach.
Now go into the scripts and modify the SpawnItem script to not spawn the dust pile. Now the fairy will spawn in the corner and one of the two items in the other room will be in the corner.

Last saved in build 536. The name is a little misleading.
