When started the quest for the first time after running ZC, registered name, and prepared for a custom quest, Link will be on a screen with timed warp (for example time warp tics have 300 [5 seconds] before taking effect). Actually after starting the quest, Link takes the timed warp immediately instead of waiting for 300 frames to pass by.
Reset the system. Run the quest, and the screen he enters for a start with timed warp, the timed warp works correctly, letting 300 frames pass by before warp.
This is a very old bug, you can get around it by first sending the player to a black screen
Thanks for your suggestion, Freedom.
Hopefully as soon as the developers manage to fix that part, then every Zelda Classic user won't have to resort to making Link start at a black screen first.
Developers, any plans? Bug still occurs in 528.
This is now the last thread I am bumping it up. I have nothing more to bump it up and leaving my own Inconsistency reports alone.
Be patient, they're fixing bugs at breakneck speed.
It will be addressed. 😉
There are 22 pages of active bugs, just between yesterday and today a whole page has been moved out of here, so it's happening. 😉
Bug confirmed fixed in 564. Dead bug.
