For the most part these work great! Exept for a few weapon things previously mentioned...and
1)After custom zora's finish spawning they open all shutters. And no I don't have the spawned by zora's flag checked, or zora flag checked in enemy room flags. Also have set to enter from sides but that's working great, I just mentioned it because that's how I know the shutters open after they all spawn. ;p
I'm not seeing this bug. Could you please post a test quest?
I don't think Zoras act like enemies in that respect do they?
For instance if you kill all the enemies on a screen except Zoras, then when returning they all come back, as though the Zoras aren't counted at all, but the rest of the time leaving 1 or 2 enemies would have you come back to one or two enemies...
If you're following my reasoning.
I think the doors are seeing all enemies as dead and then opening.
Oh, the report makes more sense now; I thought Gleeok was saying that shutters would open on screens with Zoras, even if other enemies were still present.
But yes, Zoras are pseudo-enemies in that they don't count towards the screen enemy kill count, or other effects such as shutters, enemies->item, etc.
Ah fooey. I wasn't sure about this one. I tried unchecking anything that might make the game treat them as "zora's" but it didn't work.
I wanted to make the first zora's boss enemy using custom zoras. Now I guess it's just going to involve lots of screens, warps, and flags up the wazoo.
One question though; Why is when sometimes you leave a room then immediately re-enter, all or all but one of the zoras fails to spawn?
Beats me; make a test quest and post a report.

I don't know, they've always been finicky like that.
I went through these same exact situations back when I was building The Search for Elise.
Both with the boss situation you're looking at and another area where they would spawn erratically.
I found the erratic spawning changes with which direction you enter the screen from too.
I'll say this though...
They're consistent with their inconsistency. 😉

Yeah, I don't get it either. I don't know that i've got a test quest readily available. You wouldn't happen to have one, would you?
No I don't have one, but he doesn't need one, it's just the way they are.
They work right over-all.
Spawning I think has a lot to do with location, and the number of water tiles or area you have for them to spawn into.
I made some "custom" Zoras here in my quest that dominate a whole river area that runs the the distance of the whole map from north to south, and they are working quite well.
Nope, their buggy. I'm uploading a test quest now. 😃
What exactly is the bug then?
