Question, why can't I warp to different Dmaps?

I'm using ZC 2.10. I put a direct tile on the floor and did this exact thing: >Data> tile warp>set the type to insta-warp>Set the Dmap to the Dmap I wanted and set the screen to the screen I wanted.

I tested it and I went to the right room but I stayed in the same Dmap. 😕 I have tried setting it over and over to the right things that I wanted but it won't work, and when I press "Go" on the configure tile warp screen I end up going to the right screen but wrong Dmap again! :scared:

So for a long time now I havent been able to figure out the problem. Could I get some help guys?😊

What!?...How the heck did you do that?

Wait...what do you mean by Dmap??? You mean you can't continue from the new Dmap?

Instawarps don't set the continue point.

What room # did you put? If you put an invalid room # it might possibly be causing that.

I actually had that problem with mine, I had 2 8x8 DMAPs next to each other and tried to warp to room 38, it sent me to 40 on the other DMAP instad until I changed it to 30.

What is the combo type of the tile on the warp tile on the screen? (To find this, right-click on the tile on the screen and select "Properties."😉

Make sure the DMap you are warping to is the map you want it to be. It's set to 1 as default but if want to go to a screen on map two you'll have to change that.

The tile type is direct warp and I start at D map 1 and I'm trying to go to D map 40. at first I tried to make it D map 2 but changed it to 40. It still didnt work!

I'm still confused! I changed the first screen that you warp from to screen 10 now instead of one but it still warps back to screen 1!

Make SURE that you are using your DMap's relative coordinates, NOT your Map's absolute coordinates. That means that when you set the DMap, and you shift the bar, the NEW coordinates that it creates with that are the ones you put in the "Screen" you want to warp in the DMap, NOT the absolute coordinates for the Map.
