You do NOT see the shadows of the enemy that is falling from the ceiling.
EDIT: Even when the show shadows quest rule is on.

Yea, but half of them are when you keep bumping those topics back up, even in builds that are still current. 🙄
You're doing a good job beta testing but it's like you're reporting each bug 5 times, and the rest of us have to wade down through those to see what else is reported so we don't report them again. 😉
Were falling enemy shadows at one point working? I think this one's my fault.
Ironically, with a few random exceptions, I'm fixing bugs from oldest to most recent, so repeated bumping is delaying the fix times 😉
Right. This time, I will lower this habit.
It is just that.................
The ones that were falling or about to fall in page 2.
Okay. So a long wait will be done. I have learned from both of you. From oldest to most recent. And am I wronfully a rookie? You may delete some posts from other bugs if you like...
"Waiting speeds up the process" is more than "multi-posting to keep it from falling through." Though multi-posting also prevents other users from posting duplicate threads. I will check it in other pages if it is a bug I found and thinking it is older reported thread, if there is one, may post in there. If not, new thread. New thread is done immediately if it is a newest bug in a newest build. What if one user posted the new bug and the other posted the same new one at the same or too close time, then it is a jinx. Will have to repeatedly reload the page until there is a non match of the time the poster has started a new thread, then it is determined that the newest post of the same bug will receive a moved bug.
But this time, I will multi-post for every time the bug still occurs in a new build (Example: "Bug still remains in ###"😉 starting right now.
Were falling enemy shadows at one point working?
No.

Yes.
I agree, yes.
There was some disagreement about their height in relation to the enemy while falling, but they DID work.
Found the problem: enemies which are traditionally earthbound do not have shadow code. The old general enemy shadow code would set the shadow tile of *all* enemies to the first small shadow tile, which fixed falling enemies but broke all enemies whose shadow tiles animated, or were 2x2.
I think now shadows should be correct in all cases.
Bug confirmed fixed in 473. Shadows can now be seen. Dead bug.
