If I start a new 1st quest in 466, get the sword, save and quit then when I reload the sword is gone both in the cave and in my items. O_O?
EDIT: yet quitting (F6) and selecting RETRY restores your sword.
As far as I can tell the items are in the GAMEDATA all the time. They show up there just before game_loop is called the first time.
