Slow walk inconsistency [448]

I don't know if I or somebody already reported this inconsistency. Please check 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quests.

In the NES: Link moves slower on slow walk combos.

But in ZC: Link continues moving at a normal speed.

Classic Link movement is extremely complicated - how many pixels he steps forward with each step (either 1 or 2) depends on on which row and column he's standing.

How Link moves on Slow Walk combos is equally complicated, but the bottom line is that he currently walks at about 2/3 speed (I think the exact number is 7/10). If this is inconsistent, I need somebody to give me an exact description of slow walk on the ROM (how many pixels he steps frame by frame, and whether and how his current x&y position affects these numbers) and I'll fix it.

No, they aren't supposed to be.

The overworld stairs/ladders/whatever they are (those blue things mostly in the mountains), however, are supposed to be. 😛

By default, no tile used in 1st.qst or 2nd.qst from the classic tileset uses the slow walk property. If there are slow walk tiles in NES Zelda, then it's not only a bug with 1st.qst and 2nd.qst but also a bug with the classic tileset. My vague memories tell me that _L_ is right on this one, but I can't be sure.

Okay, I checked it out in the NES. Link walks slower on blue ladders in the overworld and normal on white ladders in item cellars and passageways.

To restore NES authenticity for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and proposed1st.qst, combo 4 (blue ladder graphic) must be labeled slow walk and update the New Default (can't change) template.

I've updated proposed1st.qst and added proposed2nd and proposed3rd.qst.
The template will need to wait a bit until it can be changed.

I see that Link moves slower in proposed1st.qst. Couldn't test proposed2nd and proposed3rd because they are not custom quests--Check that in Open Beta Bugs.

Okay, I snagged the proposed2nd and 3rd from the 467 Linux build and imported into the directory with the last Windows build 461. Tested and noted that combo 4 is now slow walk.

Dead bug.
