Red Potion can't be used, you can buy a Blue, then use it, but when you
buy a Red it shows up as a Blue, and you can't select it at all.
Potions
Item properties are incorrect. You need to check the "Equipment Item" box in the properties dialog for the Red Potion, since otherwise the red potion won't be treated as equipment 😉
When in doubt, hit the "defaults" button.
I had it checked, guess somehow it got screwed up. I keep getting things like
that happening to me, I don't mess with the items, after setting them up, but
yet they still get that way.

Keep lots of backups. If you get any evidence that your items are getting fresh corruption, please let me know, as right now I have no idea what to check.

and I always keep backups, keeps me from getting to be a very p'd off white boy, as i've learned in the past.
That's really strange, I checked my potions after you first reported this and they worked fine.
I haven't had any item problems in the last few betas except for some bomb problems 4 or 5 betas back, and my shops seem to be working ok.
I probably should point out though that I haven't made any custom items, or messed with them in any other way.
