Normally, not a problem. But, look at the following screen shots:

Here is a room with a sword sticking out of a pedestal (standard Zelda fare) in ZQuest.

Here's the same room, in the player. Notice that the sword is too low, making it look stupid.

Yeah, that's been present since pre-2.10. I reported it once, and was told that it was Z-1's behaviour, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just try to work around it
Yep, been around forever.
Can't you just adjust the sprite out to match the item as best as possible?
maybe just cut a pixel off the bottom of the (fake) blade?
:\ I still think it's a bug. Add a rule, if they must.
Although I can't really think of any situation where you can't work around it like Freedom suggests... Unless you want your item to blend in with a tile, which is aligned at 16x16. There, that might be a hypothetical problem.
I personally don't like quest rules, and believe them to be evidence of poor design.
In any case, I really don't think one is necessary here - use Freedom's fix, or, if you need pixel-perfect control without changing the item sprite, position the item with a script. 😉
I have, however, fixed ZQuest to also display the item one pixel lower.

Very well, I will be satisfied with this (as if I have a choice :P)
That said, maybe items themselves should allow placement at pixel-perfect positions (hold down CTRL while click-dragging?)
