I gave the wand the ability to slash, (Fully functional, BTW. Very nice. 😊 ) and it is apparently capable of slashing bushes and such. I'll make an ASCII Diagram:

Link is facing down. When he slashes, the sword emerges from his left side, travels to his southwest, and ends up south of him. (All a single combo distance, of course.) The bushes to his west and southwest will get slashes, while the combo directly in front of him will remain unslashed.
