I changed the flags around in the enemy editor so Lynels would spawn from graves instead of Ghinis. The Lynels actually spawn, but for some reason, there is a limit of one Lynel per grave. Hitting the grave again won't spawn more Lynels even if you kill the previously spawned one. However, each grave seems willing to give a Lynel a piece. I would think that all enemies that spawn from graves should, by default, follow the NES behavior of the invincible Ghinis in their willingness to mass spawn from one grave.
Spawned by grave combo type for non-Ghinis is limited (b403)
O_o Sounds like they are acting like BS Graves. Strange. I'll look at it.
So, what's the verdict?
What's the status of this bug?
This bug persists in b500.
I was having some problems with this too.
Semi-related: How is it supposed to work if you have, let's say 20 different enemies able to spawn from graves? Is it randomized?
Only the first enemy with the flag is used. And not by alphabetic order, but numerical according to how the enemies were created in the engine originally. For instance, the first enemies that are in the master enemy list are actually the octoroks.
Anyway, the bug regarding non-Ghini enemies and graves is now fixed.
Confirmed dead in b564.
