Din's fire is weak [373]

Any plans on fixing this? I have tried to adjust the power level in the properties, nothing helped.

Yeah, I've been having this problem too, and it's making me mad! :thumbsdn: It seems like the flames from Din's Fire are as weak as the flames from either candle.

Because they ARE flames. flames are just relatively weak in ZC. If you want to be able to alter it, that's something else, but for default purposes, it's fine.

Actually, in earlier builds Din's fire was strong. I remember distinctly that it 1-hit KO'd enemies that otherwise took more than 1 candle flame hit to kill.

I wasn't sure it was fixed... majora's wrath brought up new evidence that the original power differs from the current default power.

The bug was that since my item editor enhancements, Din's Fire's damage wasn't correlated to its Power, and instead used its Level. I didn't change the Power at all, which has always been 8. (Old-skool is wrong when he says it ought to be weak.)

Okay.

By the time the new build is here, I will test it out and see if it will kill a bat in one hit (which was normal until the bug came). If it did kill a bat in one blow, the bug is fixed.

As long as it is a Windows build, I can do it.

EDIT: Bug confirmed fixed in build 403. Dead bug.
