Well I just noticed the 2.10 bug that would load incorrect enemies from 1.90 and below quests is back in full force with 364. This one was eliminated with 2.10.2 bugfix but has reared it's ugly head once again.:shakeno😞unhappyface)
----/random/ Aaaarg!!!! how many times must I start from the begining due to bugs!!! /random/----
Wheee!
update to the latest version !

Yes, I've got the latest version, which i'm testing ZQ editor, it's just that my saved games are for 364.
.
so then download the new version and open your save games in it?

But then i'd have to start them over from the beginning. If I did that every time a new build comes out i'd never even get close to finishing a game. Playing a quest to the end is more beneficial for bugtesting. Plus, it's funner that way. 😛
why start again? "COPY" your save games from the old version into the new version and play.

I didn't realize you could do that?! This is news to me! How do you do that? Do I just drag the file between folders?
zc.sav
thats the save file, just copy it across to the new one and overwrite if you want.
Thats great! Does this work with for all ZC builds? ie can I take 2.10 sav file and put it into the latest alpha? Or vice-versa>?
Well, it works sometimes, but do it at your own risk. Unlike .qst files, absolutely no guarantees are made about save file compatibility - a lot of the save file is a raw dump of some ZC data structures, and if these structures change between two builds, your save file is entirely ruined.
good thing it prompts you before it replaces the "corrupt" save file, thus you can stop the program from erasing it if it isn't suitable for the version your using.
Not too long ago there was a bug which struck every time you had two instances of ZC running at the same time: the first one would have a lock on the save game file, so the second couldn't open it; it would then create a new, empty save file instead. If you then closed the first instance, and then closed the second instance, the second instance, seeing that the original save file was now free, would overwrite the save file with its new blank save data, completely erasing all saved games. Fun times.
but it shouldnt need to constantly access that save file, it only needs it to load from, once its loaded it gets everything from the quest file.
i suppose the behavior was changed.
Could you please post a sample old quest, and describe which enemies are actually suppose to load on which screen?
Well the hard part was finding an old quest that this happened right away without much walking around. http://www.mediafire.com/?c9tea9q9nm2 But there seems to be some randomnity(hehe) involved from quest to quest. I know DN fixed this in 2.10.2.(maybe ask him?) In this one just go up,right, down to lv1. and the stalfos2 are replaced by variing(??) combinations of lanmola2 and stalfos1. (one time there was 3 lanmola, another 1 lanmola and 4 stalfos1)?
Also in demo.qst, a patra was replaced by a ghoma1. some others, i forget. enjoy! ;P
Dead. I have recently played through most of two 1.90 quests.
Just have to mention this; If you play demo qst on like 364 or earlier, all the bubbles become Patra's!!! It's actually quite fun ;p
