found, not to have it seem as I am an idiot.

and besides I think everyone wants a 99% bug free ZC to use, and I am
trying to help see that that happens. and things should work properly and not
be told that something that should work right doesn't matter, like the A/B item
thing. it's a half assed way to think when so many people want something good
to use.

L's post's have a tendency to be short, and to the point, and i'm sure he meant no disrespect. I have been the fool plenty of times, but with the ridiculous amount of new features in ZC it can't really be helped.I'm only human. I can't speak for everyone, but anyone who takes the time to test and report bugs such as yourself, I thank wholeheartedly, as hopefully it will be one step closer to a stable beta, and 2.5 release. There is however a similar bug with the prisms/mirrors that I completely forgot about. Thanks for reminding me 😉

You're right; ZC only progresses thanks to the hard work of our beta testers, and I can understand it can be frustrating to be treated in a manner that seems disrespectful or condescending. L is perhaps not very cuddly, but I do believe he appreciates your efforts.

What you are wanting is a prism (which duplicates and redirects magic in more than 1 direction). The 4-way mirror just means that it's a block with a flat mirror on all 4 sides (each side reflects magic back at the source).

Also, I apologise for using the grumpy man's boldface, and also for casting off those two other reports of yours. Can we be friends?

(I suppose I must admit that my conception of a beta-tester is a person who is adequately versed in the mechanics of the game such that they can determine incorrect responses from correct ones, and not, for example, someone who thinks the Peril Ring and the Peril Beam scroll are the same thing. Not that I'm against open betas, of course. There's barely enough testing getting done as it is right now. Ultimately, I guess I far too easily tire of customers.)

well for one thing I have been really good at using ZC's features since
2004, and right now other than FFC's and scripting, I know how everything
works, while there are a few combo types I never used before, I am far from
inexperienced with ZC. I have about 6 or 7 quests out there and all except some
minor bugs they all work fine. so with bugs popping in and out of the new builds,
it's hard to tell what may be a bug and what's not.

I test hard and report what I think I find, and if it's something legit and I don't
and no one else does then 2.5 comes out with the bug, then later a quest gets
f'd up, then what? you know out of the bugs I report only about 25% aren't
really bugs, so do you want a 75% bug finding that helps or none at all?
it's funny that some of the bugs I do report, no one else finds them or if they
do don't report them, just like other report bug that I never came across.
like for example the Spin attack bugs, the quest I am working on don't use
it, but my other WIP does, so I haven't tested that aspect yet, but I know
mostly how it works, and if I can't get something I will ask.

like I said aside from the 10% of Flags and Combos that I never used yet
I am well versed in ZC, enough so to for one make a subscreen that won

problems)[/SIZE], have a Quest that won PZC's first quest of the month,
and to start reworking the ZC help file with the things I had amassed, which
would have to be finished by someone who knows the FFC's, scripting and
the details I don't, but turning it more from a help to a basic tutorial. take
the Wallet for example, I tested, reported and you said no bug, turns out
there was a minor one. so I do test and test well, yeah I may get overlook
something new that was added or changed and report it, but how many
others do you think do the same simple thing without thinking?

like I said my 3 years exp, makes me well versed and I have followed ZC's
progress since 1.92 163, using the new features as they came out. not only
do I test ZC, I make quests & tiles, so I do know what I am doing, and am
far from a beginner, I may not know everything about ZC but I know enough.

I was responding to the general comment about the open beta testing letting L know
my qualifications, and not at all talking to you, so you felt the need to reply why?,
when it didn't have a thing to do with you, if I had gone on post after post after
post, then fine, but I left one final comment and you had to chime in.

No ones saying you're not qualified. Heck, half the bugs I report are just me not understanding a feature. I just don't get what you were so angry about.
