That script (ASM Item) is used for a sword-class item, where the default SFX (30) is a "whoosh" and the SFX's 60-63 are 4 of Link's sword swinging yells from OoT. If I swing too rapidly, ZC freezes and my CPU spikes (although nothing lags or slows down.) Is this a Bug (as in error of ZC) or a bug with the scripting system ZC had at that point. I refuse to upgrade to another Beta for obvious reasons, and I reported this because I haven't seen it mentioned yet. Swinging the sword at about 1 per second-and-a-half will save ZC from imminent doom (crash) but really fast swipes will. I THINK it has something to do with swinging before the custom SFX finishes sounding, and 2 custom SFX's playing can't be handled by ZC.254 Script bug
The script as posted is buggy: SND3 appears twice and there is no SND4. Does that solve your problem?
ZC no longer freezes, however the script does not work like I want it to. It only plays 3 sfx instead of the 4 I want, the sword swoosh (SFX #30) is supposed to accompany SFX 60-63 (Link's yells from OoT) but only 3 are heard and on the 4th swing only the sword's swipe is heard. T_T
I think the current sound engine is limited to one sfx at a time (notice, for instance, how rupees being refilled is just one sound effect that keeps cutting itself off)
