Every beta I've used past 254 the rings or the shields don't work. The newest ones the mirror shield won't block rocks, spears and boomerangs. Was wondering if that was just a beta error or if I need to fix something in my game to accomodate the newest versions. I'm really interested in making more custom enemies and items but am stuck at 254 for now.

Fixed in the next build. If you're playing an old quest, the fix should Just Work; otherwise, you'll need to go into the quest's item properties and reset the Shield (Mirror) back to the default settings.
