guys don't disappear when you buy items or pick up the free ones.
on a pick up screen you must leave then come back before you can progress.

I never fixed the item problems in this quest, it is exactly the same as you
opened before, but the GUY thing does exactly what I said, and the same
in other quests, I have as well.
OK, to work around this issue you can turn on the quest rule "Items Disappear During Pickup."
I could fix guys to always disappear after pickup, but I think a lot of existing quests rely on the current behavior...
Yeah, that one got me too. But i'm still not seeing a big demand for a split rule. It's more of a "why the heck aren't they disapearing" and "how do I fix it issue".
Well, I'm more than happy to not do extra work if there's no demand for it 😊
Sure would be nice to have a list of these behaviors to check before submitting them as bugs.
