..LOL, MSU. :P Those two statement DO go together...if you've got a dirty mind.

And the Brawl OST has already been ripped?!? ...Wow...these pirates work fast. ...I'm not gonna hunt it down yet, since I want SOME pleasant surprises from the Music. Man...1 gig... :P I wonder how long that'd take on my crappy 46.6 K Dial up

That was the point of it. Real and funny.

Is there anything wrong with sleeping at 5 in the afternoon? I don't think so, so I think that I'll do it.

Just 5:00? Weakling, don't get up until 9:30 P.M.!

..I actually hate myself every time I sleep in until, like, noon. I always feel like I wasted the entire day.

Oops. I added the word "in" between "sleeping" and "at". My bad.

In this case, there's nothing wrong with that at all. I typically take an hour nap when I get home from school.

I love naps, and I either totally love or totally hate the feeling I get when I wake up at like 6:30 PM after taking a nap for two hours or more, and the house is all quiet and empty, and it feels like it feels in the mornings except that I know it's not the morning...weird stuff.

QFT. Even on weekends, I'm usually up by 7:30-8ish.

My body doesn't let me sleep in much on the weekends any more now that I am up at 5 during the week. It sucks but when you think about it, waking up at 8 is still sleeping in 3 more hours than normal so it's better than nothing I guess.

I actually prefer to just stay up real late. I dunno, theres just something about staying up until 6 or 7 in the am that reminds me of summertime. [shrug] And I do like the summertime. Wish it would get its ass here sooner.

Yeah, the cold in West LA isn't fun. It's really windy and it's just terrible to walk in the shade. The sun isn't too bad, but it's nasty walking out at night.

Its not really windy out, but then again, I'm never really in the open, so maybe it is. The property I live on has 20+ acres of woodland, with two...well, three, open fields. So trees usually block the wind.

However, it makes for awesome airsoft battles. And I mean multiple day long airsoft battles.

I got 15 minutes of sleep last Friday morning, at about 8:30. I then immediately had to go to a three hour acting class, which gets pretty physically active. Straight from there to Calc, where I kept dozing off, and I think my professor called me out on it to the class, but I was too tired to notice. Gosh I love staying up late.

There are only some situations where they should care - like if you have to do some kind of active work. If you're just there to take notes, I don't see why they should care (unless you are snoring loudly). Then again, I never understand people who go to lecture just to fall asleep? What's the point? You'll get a more refreshing nap in your own bed - and then you can get the notes from someone and learn the material after you have had good rest. This way you get poor rest and still don't get the material until later (if ever) anyways.

Sometimes professors require you to attend class a certain number of times, or they'll fail you.

Which sucks, for all the reasons you mentioned. Some classes, that matter for your major, I understand. But if I don't show up for American History pre-1829, who cares? I've learned that stuff over and over again since grade school.

She didn't care per se, she just kinda pointed it out to the class. I think I heard her say "We'll wake him up when we get to the important stuff."
Now I'm worried she's gonna think I don't care about the class, though. I just now missed class because my alarm didn't go off. Yet another drawback of staying up till 4AM is that you don't naturally wake up until 12:30, almost halfway through class. And I love calculus, I don't wanna miss that. How else am I gonna learn about derivatives in several variables? Read the textbook? Posh.
