lol. Better safe than sorry, right? 😉
I actually don't think starting out on hard is too bad as long as you're careful. First time I did it, though, I was careless, and I, uh, died before reaching the first statue. Yeah...
Overall, though, I think Nintendo did a pretty good job with the remake even though the ending was slightly anti-climatic.

At the beginning of The Minish Cap when Zelda wins the shield for Link, the woman giving her the prize doesn't realise that the giant red gem is a rupee. WTF? I can understand a regular person in Hyrule might not know what a Heart Container is, but how can she not recongnise currency?
Perhaps she was trying to appeal to the youngin's before her?
Okay, so 2008 had my first White Christmas. The snow started falling around the 15th, and just kept coming, leaving is with over a foot of snow at Christmas. Then it started melting. This morning, the roads were clear, and patches of grass started becoming visible (I'd say 25% of our yard had no snow). It starting snowing again tonight, We got about in an inch in the first 30-45 minutes. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the morning.
I can't wait 'til summer. ;_;
For once, I'm really enjoying winter. I love snow, and there's no shortage of it here.
I can't stand the cold, or the snow. =[ I can't walk or ride my bike anywhere—I have to take a bus to get to places. It sucks.
I like snow, but I don't like being cold, especially if it is windy. It is fairly nice out today. It is cold, but it is very sunny, which always makes it a bit warmer.
So...
I've been in the hospital 4 times last month.
I broke up with my girlfriend of four years shortly after christmas and everything I own is in storage.
Apparently I'm anemic and had a bacterial infection.
I also apparently got into a fight sometime in the middle of all of that, evidenced by the black eye, cuts, and bruises all over my body. I have absolutely no memory of it. I do have a vague memory of falling down stairs though. I'm not sure when that happened either.
What better way to roll into a new year?
Have you accepted Christ as your saviour? D:>
(That was a joke, no arguments plz)
mighty_darknut wrote:Have you accepted Christ as your saviour? D:>
No. Life wouldn't be nearly as interesting if I did.
Wow, that's tough. I'm not quite sure what to say.
Happy New Year, and I hope you don't have any more fighting and stair related amnesia. :goofy:
Not so much amnesia. I've been binge drinking everclear all month long. That's just how I roll.
btw, drinking straight everclear is extremely dumb. don't do it.
I hope that your life settles down for you soon. Bacterial infections can be really nasty critters to have amongst your innerds.
Blessings hon...

my life is just beginning. everything I've done to myself has taught me that the human body isn't a pussy. a bacterial infection isn't going to be the death of me. it's uncomfortable at best. I do feel extremely tired and wiped out though. I've also gotten extremely sensitive to everything. not in a faggot kind of way. I'll wake up at the sound of a pin dropping. It's annoying.
Breaker, this is the part where you discover you have superhuman abilities.
No joke, man. You are gonna be one baaaaad muthafucka.
Speaking of human bodies… I'm really interested in cannibalism. I heard about this german fellow, Armin Meiwes, who found someone on the internet to volunteerily let Meiwes kill and eat him. Meiwes ended up getting eight and a half years in prison. Fucking unfair, man.
Wow, both of them must have been insane.

Isn't that what the internet is for?
MasterSwordUltima wrote:Isn't that what the internet is for?
Basically. But it all goes to shit when you get arrested for it.
What's so bad about getting arrested for murder?
The guy volunteered. And how else are you supposed to eat someone?
mighty_darknut wrote:The guy volunteered.
Ya, but it was still murder. The guy who volunteered was most likely insane.
Breaker wrote:You don't.
Quoted, as it deserves to be.
You don't, maybe. But who's to say this man can't eat someone who willingly gave up his body to him?
Actually in Germany the law doesn't say you can't eat another person, it just says you can't kill them. The only workaround I can think of is finding someone to volunteerily amputate part of their body but not be killed. It's all just such a hassle for a little bit of human meat. It's so discouraging…
That should be enough to drive you away from desiring human meat then.
It doesn't—it just makes me not want to go through all the trouble. But I'm not giving up yet. I'll find a way to make it happen.
I think I'm gonna be sick. 😞
Oh lawd, this topic is really making me laugh now. I shouldn't have brought it up.
