This one's a bit strange. Use Farore's Wind, and during the animation hit F7 and reset the game. Then when you load up a file (any file), your character will automatically "explode" and respawn as though using Farore's Wind. If you do this too far into the animation, this won't happen, but a few "Link particles" will be on the screen initially and quickly fade away, as though Farore's Wind was used recently
EDIT: Using the twilight version of Farore's Wind causes a whole different set of graphical issues, but the basic functionality is the same. Also, even if you take a Side Warp in the time before the animation goes off, the game seems to put you back on the side you started on from the side warp.
