OK, so right now your probably thinkin DUHHH. But this is too cool.
Enemy editor-
Darknut(lv1)
misc1-2
misc2-49
misc3-5 hahahahahahahahaha!
yeah thats right, someone had to do it!
So you kill a darknut and 5 more replace it, kill another and five more replace that one, kill another....and another... anyway I got the count up to 165
darknuts on my third try before it crashed for the 3rd time.seems to be about that many each time it crashes. Not really sure how to go about fixing this one exept a little quest designer common sense.:giggle:
An enemy cap maybe?
Also, I'm pretty sure that nothing can currently prevent you from setting misc3 to 255.
I suppose some kind of hard cap is necessary. Maybe at 128?
Yeah, This is definately an issue now.
ZC has now crashed elsewhere in 3 seperate rooms. It seems that moldorm
tail segments, Lanmola segments, and Patra kids count as enemies. And yes, before you ask i did make a summoner that summons patras😊
This number for me seems to always be around 160 before the head explodes
so to speak. I can try to get you a rough number in different beta/alpha
builds if you would like. Let me know.
Also, any chance of getting my hands on a pre-existant enemy/newly created
enemy ID number list. oh, one more thing. I erred a couple of times in the data trying to create "custom" bosses and ZC crashed when I entered the rooms they were in, and Manhandlas weapon when changed only shoots up.
I like the idea of Gels that spawn more Gels when you hit them. That's pretty sick.
How about enemies that get stronger every time you kill them?
Octo1 -> Octo2 -> Octo3 -> Octo4 -> Octo5
I believe this bug is fixed in the next build.
The old *bumperuski*
Also I believe I may still have the test qst for the above mentioned. It's likely an old 200 something build though. ...well i'm here if you need me.
EDIT: your pretty quick there DD.
Sweet 😉 I'll test it out next build thoroughly.thanks. 😃
Well, I tried and I tried to get it to crash...but it didn't. and let me say; Wow, that was alot of enemies!!!! Dead bug.
Also for reference with scripts, warps, bosses, etc... What number is the enemy cap set to???
I believe 256. Note though that some enemies take up multiple slots - in particular every segment of segmented enemies (Lanmola, Gleeok, Patra, etc) take up a slot.
