Lock blocks may not open (compatibility issue?)

(Again, I'm playing a quest previously made in 2.10 with build 254.)

Scenario: In a dungeon, instead of a northern door, I replaced it with lock block doors (since it opens up to a door that is a staircase). Of course, the door is 2 combos wide. In 2.10, a key opens the custom door, but in 2.5, in the same situation, the door does not open. Kind of a quest ruiner.

Have you changed anything at all? I'm pretty sure the way combos are coded were changed (or modified) from 2.10 to 254. Maybe you need to manually set the combos back to lock blocks.

Don't worry about it, guys. The bug has been fixed since 254, I just checked in 461. But thanks for wondering about it.

Petoe is depending on 254 for lost isle, he'll want to know about it.
Dark Nation is supposed to be tweaking a 254 version for Petoe and DFW to release with Lost Isle.
THey need to know.

Waaaaaiiiiit. Wait a sec. I was wrong. It's an actual door, not a lock block door. What I did was make the door a normal locked door, and when the door is unlocked, the door would appear as a down staircase.

The catch. The key you obtain for the door (the door is on 3, 01) is on the overworld (1, 0F). So when you get the key and go back into Level 4, you cannot open the door.

[Here] is an older version of my quest I found online, so you can download it and check it out. (Yeah, no stealing my music or designs or whatever. You know the drill.)

I took the quest down. Hopefully you had enough time to download it.

Could you please repost the quest?

The key isn't something silly like a level key for a different level, is it?

I'll just PM it to you.

And again, it is a 2.10 quest. It is not a level-specific key.

\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ @ DD (not to bump the thread): Very strange that it worked for you. Yeah, it looks like it was somehow sorted out so I wouldn't really worry about it.

Huh? I warped to 03 03, back to 00 0F, picked up the key, warped to 03 03, opened the door, and warped just fine...

This bug is fixed!

I tested it in beta 626. I will, however, continue to search for 2.10 compatibility issues.
