Alright, lets try this. Bushes and Grass. As stated in another topic, I used the Slash->Next property. I set it up to slash, then added the resulting picture in the Next area. Wrong. Slashing still leaves a black hole, and the plants dissappear unless I add a time limit of 999 to init.

So whats another way of doing this?

In 2.10, you set the undercombo for the most frequently used one. Then over the other ones, you put secret flags 16-30 for the undercombo you want
It means you can't have something that activates a secret on that layer though

Actually, you can't have a trigger of any kind on that screen, but you got the idea

oh it just has something like Flag 20 squares appear on the screen, and no matter what I do, it won't change, it won't go away. (Not even 0'ing it out)

if you realy want the flag gone try, right clicking on it then edit combo set flag type to none! i had a simular problem. i kept going to tools>flags>no flags-0,
and it was still there! so i try'd what i just explain, poof it was gone!😎

what it is: If i place a flag at the edge of a screen (say the bottom of 60) then the one next to it (say 70) will have the exact same layout of flags as found on the bottom of the first(60), only maybe 3-4 squares up from the origional.

Keep in mind that "Slash->Next" which switch to the next combo in the combo set, NOT to the combo in the Next box (which is used for combo cycling). So, if you want a bush that turns into a chopped bush, put the chopped bush immediately after the unchopped bush.
