Cheating keys removes Boss Key and compass

Using the cheat to give yourself any type of key will remove these items from the level inventory for the current level you are in and past levels you have completed.

Similarly, cheating items reduces the amount of magic you have available.

Magic: The maximum amount of magic currently allowed by the ZQ init data is 8, so your max magic is being reset to this when you cheat. There is no indication of why it is limited to this amount; I've removed the limitation (but keep in mind there will be rendering glitches if it is set too high, depending on your subscreen).

Level key: I'm not seeing this bug; if I open up cheats, give myself level keys, close cheats, reopen cheats, add some level key, and close cheats, I still have my old keys. Is there something specific I need to do to make them disappear?

I believe I see the problem. It looks like when the number of levels was increased, the array indices where it thinks those items are stored weren't adjusted accordingly. So this should be fixed pretty easily.
Edit: Or maybe I'm a bit off. But it seems like it's got something to do with that, at least.

That was my hunch too, and would explain the behavior if the level in question were greater than 255. But for levels less than 255, from looking at the code I can't see the problem.

Gah. I found it.
In copyIntoZinit, it copies 512 levels' worth of data, but a zinitdata struct only has 256 bits for each level item.
Fixing that'll probably involve changing the quest saving and loading code... Hopefully, this won't be too big a deal.

I know there was also a problem that selecting any radio box (i.e. "Blue potion"😉 would reset the others (particularly the HCP ones) in the L4 cheat dialog.
