I tried editing some stuff and here is what happened:
When I tried to change the sizes of the frames, they would stay the same.
When I tried editing the Triforce pieces' numbers they either didn't, or gave me a random number.
Super Bombs do not appear
Bomb Bag does not appear.
Is this still an issue for you in 536?
Zelda 3 subscreens aren't compatible with the new classic; take a look at them and see for yourself.
Yes, it appears the Z3 subscreen has some unfortunate hardcoded tile references.
Anybody want to be a hero and move those conveyors somewhere else, and add in a "Z3 Subscreen" section to the default template quest with some reasonable tiles?
I'll publish a new build so the new default template with the latest changes can be used.
Still broken.
I'll shuffle around the tiles in the tile sheet myself if nobody else wants to do it, but I'd rather spend my time fixing bugs.
Also, the BS-Zelda subscreens have broken Triforce Frames.
So um, what's the status on this?
I just went through all of the subscreen templates with the "Default" ruleset. Here are the results.
Original/New Revision/Revision 2: These are configured completely correctly and usable with no tweaks.
BS Zelda Original/BS Zelda Modified/BS Zelda Enhanced/BS Zelda Complete: These are mostly configured correctly. Their only problem is in the active subscreen with the Triforce on it. The Triforce frame is configured incorrectly, but changing the checkbox on "Large Pieces" to off fixes them.
Zelda 3: It's still completely screwed up. A lot of the graphics in it point to tiles that were obviously not meant to be subscreen tiles. I'm not even sure what it's supposed to look like when it's correctly set up, especially the bizarre looking passive subscreen.
In other words, all the old issues seem to still exist. The BS Zelda subscreens just need one setting changed from default to be usable, but the Zelda 3 subscreen is basically totally unusable as it stands.
Fixing the BS Zelda subscreens are simple enough, but the Zelda 3 one will require some retooling on the standard template to make it look right.
The default Zelda 3 subscreen template has been retooled to use tiles found in the default template, with a few additions. Note that the subscreen is designed to look correct out of the box only with the graphics found in the default template. You have to modify each subscreen component if you're using your own tile set.
