I have downloaded the newest build 193 and extracted all the files to a smae folder as usual, but when I try to open Zquest, I get an error message saying something like
"A part of zquest-w.exe is missing.
Couldn't find MSVCR71.dll"
I tried opening build 192 but I get the same error. Build 142 worked fine on my computer. Any help would be appreciated as I want to test and help ZC becoming more stable. 😉

there you go, just copy it into your C:\WINDOWS\system32\ folder. (its the dll file your missing)
Still, it shouldn't be requiring that file at all. We'll look into it.
That's the C runtime library, and should come pre-installed on your system. I've added it to the Windows alpha build, so downloading build 198 should fix the problem in any case.
Evidently DarkDragon uses a microsoft compiler.
Thanks for adding that runtime library MSVCR...
...but aw crap, now something similiar, called "MSVCP71.dll" is missing. >_<
Does my computer really suck this much? This stuff should apparently come pre-installed in my system, but why didn't earlier versions of ZC require these files? And I wonder how many of these damn files are required to run ZC... 😛
edit - ok, I found the other dll file from DLL-Files.com and I got ZC working. But I still wonder why suddenly ZC started requiring these files.
Usually, ZC is compiled with GCC, which doesn't require these libraries. Compiling with MSVC makes it require them.
Hmm, ZC using MSVC...
*smells trouble, more specifically, MSVC related bugs afoot...*
