And BTW, I've decided not to go through with Z3 scrolling, at least not until 2.5 is released.
Thank theh lawrd. Our Z3 Movement is safe.

So no. 😛

- 2.10 quests "seem" fine.
- castle haunt i couldnt enter because of unknown reasons... there was a barrier stopping me from entering the house/castle/whatever.
- zelda's quest for link 2 worked apparently fine.
- link to the darkness (1.90 quest) is showing things in caves out on the overworld.
- 1.90 quest for a save game results in a crash upon exit within ntdll.dll
- B button items wont work in your special build above... or in dinus quest you start with bombs but i couldnt use them.

The bombs not working by default is a known bug that I thought I fixed. Guess the changes got overwritten or something. 1.90 quests I'll take a look at. Castle Haunt seems to be related to the bug where things in caves are shown in the overworld. Will take a look at that.

It's not the same bug though. It occurs only with bombs and super bombs. Pick up a bomb/super bomb and you'll see that you'll be able to use it fine.

Slow movement in Z3 movement changed a bit. See if the behavior is better or worse

I think it has more to do with this

We'll work on optimizaing the engine when the time comes. There are definitely some bottlenecks that need to be addressed, but not until we get some sort of stability first.

then any kind of bug or anything, it's just everything has slowed down making link look strange.

jman, Along with the new builds, could you please let us know what your bug(s) you are currently focused on? Perhaps provide a link to the thread which relates to the bug so we can attempt to reproduce it and provide direct feed back quicker?

-When editing a subscreen, ZQ sometimes freezes and you can't do anything but Ctrl+Alt+Delete

-Editing Misc colors: same as first notification.

Thats all so far.

...

Koopa, perhaps?

Also, I guess jman leaving that there will never be any more Linux builds... ever...

I'm trying to get one done.

And we'll organize something to get the builds out regularly.

EDIT : linux build done.

Nevermind, hot water beat me to it. But, there are error messages that say

writesize != section_size (some number) != (some other #)

Well yeah, these builds are not betas that you should make your games on. They are bulids so the bugs can be found quicker so the betas could be less buggy. By the way, this bug was posted. :P

No, there isn't. I thought it was going to be a heck of alot better than 119, but no one can even save their quests! 😞

Well the thing is, the quest does save, it just has those errors. So maybe it isn't saving the entire thing, but it does save most. Because I tested it in ZC and things that I added were there.

The quests are saving. Those error messages are in there to help developers find problems in the saving routine. All the data is being written. It's working just like before, except now, you are being notified that the precalculated section size does not match the size of the data actually written. It will not affect your quest.

This new version is really cool. You guys did an excellent job. Thank you so much! The title screen will amaze me forever!

O_o, I don't see a new title screen at all! I am going to download it again to see if I did something wrong.
