Shallow water

Is it just me or is it that even when you are 90% on the shallow water and 10% on land, the ripples don't come out. I have wood that you walk across on shallow water and you can basically be all of the way off the wood, and the ripples don't appear unless you are 100% on the shallow water. It just looks weird for it to do that in my opinion. So I don't know if this is meant to be, so I am posting it as a bug.

I think this bug has been around for a while. I've also noticed a few odd situations where damage tiles extend in one direction over the limit but not in others, despite the "1" of damage sensitivity for that screen. Perhaps these combo range bugs are related.

Maybe. Is this why _L_ is going to make solid damage combos? Anyways, the shallow water does act weird. It just doesn't look right.

I'm making solid damage combos because I really don't like having to fake it via combo cycling.

its vice-versa too, put Z-3 movement on, and barely step on the shallow water and the sand. Link's body will appear on the sand, but the ripples come on him anyway.

Actually I am using Z-3 movement. The thing is, when you touch it from the top it is sensitive and when you touch it from the side it isn't. The whole thing is a little weird. XD

For what it's worth, the shallow water ripples code looks like this:

  if((COMBOTYPE(x,y+15)==cSHALLOWWATER)&&(COMBOTYPE(x+15,y+15)==cSHALLOWWATER) && z==0)
{
if (decorations.idCount(dRIPPLES)==0)
{
decorations.add(new dRipples(x, y, dRIPPLES, 0));
}
}

P.S: Say, are you using Big Link?
