ok so im assuming no one has the sfx.dat file with zelda 4 sounds on it. In that case, does anybody have the application to to create your own sfx files?

It's not downloadable anymore? Guess I haven't checked in a while.

Anyways, in the latest betas of 2.11/2.5 (I'm seeing the names of both), the sfx is actually built into the .qst itself. And it's easier to use than the grabber.exe file. You can access it via ZQuest under Quest --> SFX data. Though... you kinda need to look around a bit before you can find whatever you need to be changed, as they are listed by number and not name.

However, if you actually did manage to get the grabber file, it would only work for creating .sfx files for versions 2.10 and below. I would post a link to it, but I haven't managed to get back onto my eSnips account successfully.

thanx guys. I dont currently have the beta yet. Im not a beta tester, unless things have changed since i was here. I guess i may have to wait untill dark nation puts out the beta to the public to change the sound effects.

The beta is out to the public. Just go to the beta forums and download it. It's under a thread with the beta's full name.
