shrooms i found

I recognize those mushrooms. Yes, they are edible. Those ones on the tree (2nd pic), are highly sought after by foragers. The ones in the first picture taste like clams. You should eat them.

eat em raw though. you cook em they get all mushy and taste like shit. you just give'em a good scrubbing and you eat em with ranch dressing or a cheese dip.

I normally dislike eating mushrooms meant for salads, but you'd be hardpressed to find me eating stuff that I found on the ground.

Liberty caps are usually a bad idea. They're incredibly similar to any number of rediculously poisonous mushrooms. Just in case, you, you know, actually want to know.

Besides, you sound like, 12. You shouldn't know about liberty caps yet.

I'm pretty sure those are liberty caps and I agree with Glenn the Great (a rarity!) you should eat as many as you can find.

Of course, if you're going to go eating these mushrooms, you may as well go right ahead and eat whatever the hell else you find lying on or growing in the ground. Clearly, based on your example of the Liberty Cap, it's good for you, otherwise you wouldn't be doing it. Now would you.

I did a project on these for my Sex Ed/Career Choice class (a funny mix, I must admit)

Essentially, while "tripping from a shroom" is not addictive, it will mess you up in the long run. But I must admit, it sounds fun while it lasts.
