For me at least, in the subscreen editor, Super Bombs don't show up. You can select them and edit them, but their graphic isn't showing, while the Quest > Graphic > Sprites graphic is set up
Super Bombs Don't Show Up
Do you *have* Super bombs set up to be in your inventory during the time of creating the SBomb counter though? I think it needs you to actually have them to show up. .. I mean, in the Init Data area.
It's how it works with heart piece gauges too, etc.
Counter... what? I mean the Current Item, not the counter. The graphic for the Current Item is not showing
That occurred to me while I was writing the post, actually. L_L' The general message still stands though. Did you start the player out with Super Bombs, or does the player not have any as he starts the quest? If he doesn't have the item, it won't show up, I don't think. It sort of acts like it would at the beginning of the quest, so if you don't have ANYTHING, then there will be a surprisingly empty looking subscreen in front of you while you've got all the items down.
Seems to how it works according to the Heart Piece Gauges, anyway. Most of them don't show up, but then when I give him 24 hearts instead of 3, bam, they're all there. Might be the same general principle.
They have to be in init data to show.
I think DarkDragon even just changed that so they will now show without being in init data.
In either case this isn't a bug. 😉
ah yes, here it is;
* If a quest has no bombs or super bombs set in Init Data, the subscreen editor will still display subscreens as if Link had 1 of that bomb.
