Sony questions high price of Wii and 360

What Sony needs to do to make a profit this year is to sell whatever shit they are smoking. It must be pretty good for them to consistantly make these comments and press releases.

You kind of expect it being that they work for Sony, but unlike other companies, they seem to make up whatever lies or retarded observations possible to make the competition look bad. Digs at 360 being expensive and for a small group where as their system costs more making it for an even smaller more retarded group of ps fanboys.

Atma, I laughed for about 5 minutes at that. A picture says 1,000 words, and you certainly picked the right one for this topic.

I have been stupifyed by this articled.
Then I started laughing like hell.

what the flying...

what kind of drugs are they taking?!? the more I hear from Sony, the more I question their sanity.

worst thing is, they'll probably be surprised when the PS3 crashes and burns.

and atma, I think I just died laughing. Greep rep!

"I think their product offering is still not broad enough. The content is narrow and appeals only to a very core group," he said.

Ha ha. Silly aussies. He's talking about the X360, by the way.

Alright kiddies, it's time for another lesson in Super Happy Fun Logic Class!

Now, we're going to be utilizing Multiplication today, so put on your lil' ol thinking caps! 😉

I want you all to examine the components, and rationalize which is

Wii American Price: $250 Australian price: Theoretically $500
X-Box 360 American price: $300 or $400 (Australian price not found)
Playstation 3 American price: $500 or $600 Australian: $829 or $999

Now kiddies, can you tell me: Which one is double the price of another?

Okay, now get ready for the next problem: You have item #2 and #1, setting aside, for this problem, the item that was not double or half in the previous equation. Item #2 is double the price of item #1. Therefore, is it rational for item #2 to refer to the price of item #1 as high?

I think Sony's arguement might have been that PS3 doesn't have shit for launch games, so you end up spending more on Wii + tons of awesome games, than you do on PS3 + nothing 😊

What a great point! Yes you can spend less money on the PS3 than you do the Wii. Just let the PS3 sit on a shelf while everyone else actually uses and enjoys what Nintendo has to offer. Insane.

Oh while we are talking about the PS3's price, while actually there is a 500$ model available, it is widely known that the overwhelming majority of units produced are the 600$ model. So even if you want to go the cheaper route you may not be able to.

Wii does end up costing you as much as a PS3 if you buy the Wii with like, 8 games.

Don't forget controllers (esp classic controller), cables, memory card, etc too :P

I have the money to buy both systems, but I'm just plain not interested in the Playstation 3. Even the next Final Fantasy game (Final Fantasy 13) looks kinda retarded. Final Fantasy 12 will probably be the last PS title I'll pick up.
