I have a item that shoots two crystals out of link but the crystals do not do any damage. What does this do?

I think you're thinking of Nayru's Love - it temporarily protects Link from enemy damage.

I see that is what it does. I was confused because link still bounced around like he was taking damage.

Thanks.

If you have played OoT you may remember that Link will still be thrown while Nayru's Love is active even though he takes no damage. It's consistant with the series.
