If you modify a few tiles, everyone knows the save button opens up. But if you click save,sometimes Zquest crashes and you lose all of your work you did after your previous save.

If this is still happening, make a new report with as much info as possible.
This hasn't happened to me in ages and the thread is a year old and pretty well outdated, ZC is a different animal now.
Moving to exterminated bugs.
