I noticed this last version, but just forgot to report it
When using palette 8, a few colors in CSet 3 go black
Here's the palette I'm using for an area in my game (rip it and die)

Looks all fine, right?

That's how it looks when viewing a screen with that palette. This happens in both ZQuest and the player
Any follow up *b*?
Dead issue?
I'm thinking this was the bug with palette cycling that seems to have been fixed since it hasn't been a problem for anyone in a long time.
I'll give *b* a day or two to comment then move this to exterminated.
My question is which palette 3, which cset 8? I may be able to confirm this as working fine right now.
A form of this bug still exists, but it's a bit different. This time, CSet 0 is affected. A few of the colors turn black, but doesn't alter the saved palette. It just looks like the colors were changed to black
I can't seem to be able to reproduce this bug in a newly-built quest in 660, but it does still take effect in my quest, as you can see below

Take note of the subscreen. there should be two darker colors where the black is
A quick test showed that this happens on level palettes 1, 5, 7, 9, B, E, and F. I checked a little further and nothing else seems to do this, but I only tested another 10 level palettes. In the player, this seems to happen regardless of what level palette your DMap uses, but in the editor, it only happens when you change the screen to that palette
I'll try some more a little later on today
Check your palette cycling and see if anything is set there. Also, send a link for the quest if that wasn't the issue.
